What to expect :
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Kelaat Mgouna
Early morning, leave Marrakech crossing the High Atlas, through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Visit the Kasbah and ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. Continue to Ouarzazate, discover the beautiful old Taourirte Kasbah, and then head to Kelaat Mgouna via the beautiful oasis of Skoura.
Dinner and Overnight at Kelaat Mgouna
Day 2: Kelaat Mgouna - Tinghir Todgha
In the morning, after a deep visit to Kelaat Mgouna, head to Tinghir, through the Valley of Roses and the Dades valley, and then move towards the famous Todra Gorge, that has fabulous canyons, reaches up to 300 meters high, and it's popular among rock climbers. The Local people live in the area, and can be seen with their small donkeys, herding camels and goats.
Overnight in a Riad or Hotel in Tinghir.
Day 3: Tinghir Todgha - Merzouga
After breakfast, on our way to Merzouga, stop at Tinejdad, to visit the Berber museum, which gives an interesting view of the Berber culture, afterwards, continue towards Merzouga, a great opportunity to ride camels through the sand dunes of
the desert, watch the spectacular sunset, and take lovely pictures.
Dinner and overnight at the Bivouac (nomad tents).
Day 4: Merzouga - Agdaz
After breakfast, proceed to the charming Merzouga heading to Agdaz, On the way you will stop at Rissani to make a short visit to mausoleum of the founder of the Alaouite Dynasty of Morocco, Moulay Ali Cherif. Next visit the following villages of Alnif, Tazarine, and the oasis N'koub to end our journey in the Draa Valley.
Dinner and accommodation in Agdaz.
Day 5: Agdaz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, start the last day of our trip going back to Marrakech, crossing the mountain ranges of the Anti-Atlas, stop at Ouarzazate, visit its cinema Studios, and then drive back to Marrakech.
