About This Tour

Day 1: Agadir / Tata (280 km)

Depart from Agadir after breakfast for a visit to Taroudant, the former capital of the Saadian dynasty. Upon arrival in Taroudant, enjoy a tour of the city’s ramparts and explore the souks specializing in handicrafts such as terracotta, wrought iron, pottery, brass, and copper. Continue to Tata, passing through Taliouine, the capital of saffron, known for the finest quality saffron. Enjoy lunch here and visit a saffron cooperative while passing through beautiful volcanic mountainous landscapes. Arrive in Tata for the night.

Day 2: Tata / Agdez (280 km)

Depart for Agdez, traveling through Foumzguid, where you’ll see impressive landscapes and geological formations, acting as a bridge between the mountain region and the Sahara. Enjoy multiple stops on request and cross oases dotted with date palms along the way. Overnight at a hotel in Agdez.

Day 3: Agdez / Merzouga (300 km)

After breakfast, leave Agdez for the Draa Valley, stopping for lunch in N'kob, the first village in the valley. After lunch, continue on the old caravan route through Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, and visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, crossing the Bougafer mountain range. Arrive in Merzouga to enjoy the sunset over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Experience a camel ride to the camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a panoramic view of the endless dunes typical of the Moroccan Sahara. Enjoy mint tea, dinner, local Gnaoui music, and a night under the stars or in a tent.

Day 4: Merzouga / Toudgha (180 km)

Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, head towards Erfoud via Tinghir, visiting its magnificent gorges (large canyons), and spend the night in Toudgha.

Day 5: Toudgha / Ouarzazate (180 km)

After breakfast, return to Tinghir. Visit the city of roses (Kalaat Mgouna) and the Dades Gorges. Enjoy lunch at the gorges before continuing to Ouarzazate for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Ouarzazate / Marrakech (220 km)

After breakfast, visit the famous kasbahs of the region, including Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1988), the Taourirt Kasbah, and a photo stop at Tiffoultout Kasbah. After lunch, head towards Marrakech via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Stop along the way for panoramic views of the High Atlas and its snow-capped peaks.

Day 7: Marrakech / Agadir (250 km)

After breakfast, depart for Essaouira. After lunch, explore Essaouira, where there is much to discover and not to be missed, such as the Sidi Mohammed Museum, the Scala of the port, the medina, and stroll along the ramparts. Visit the active and typical fishing port and the coastal areas. You will also experience artisanal fishing and its techniques, as well as the local fish market. Wander through the labyrinthine alleys of the city, visit local shops, and if you wish, stop by an Argan Oil cooperative.

Enjoy a typical lunch: grilled fish of various types along the port. Continue towards Agadir, passing the Atlantic Ocean with stunning panoramic views of goats atop argan trees, offering excellent photo opportunities along the way with stops as requested.
