TAROUDANT & TIOUT (Medina & Palm Grove)

Departure from Agadir in the morning, we begin with the usual visit of the Taroudant Medina and its Souks Ramparts.

 A short walk through the labyrinths of the old Medina and its souks, rich in food, vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, herbs, handicrafts, antiques... 

Then, around 12:00-12:30, we descend to Tiout. Tiout is a Berber village at the foot of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, 30km from Taroudant; 

a magnificent palm grove stretches between several villages with ochre-red houses offering a sublime landscape, offering a panorama both green and desert-like.

 A donkey ride (optional) is a great way to discover the palm grove, and after lunch at a local's house (lemon chicken + vegetable couscous), we return to Agadir.
